COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES
The Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025 (CDS-I) will be conducted by UPSC on April 13, 2025 , for admissions to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers’ Training Academy. Applications are open from December 11 to December 31, 2024 , via the UPSC website. The selection process includes a written examination and SSB interviews . This notification includes SSC (Non-Technical) courses for women as well.

Application Fees
General/OBC Candidates : ₹200
Exempted Categories : Female candidates, SC/ST candidates.
Educational Qualifications
IMA & OTA : A degree from a recognized university.
INA : Engineering degree from a recognized institution.
AFA : Degree with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering.
Appearing Students : Eligible if they provide proof of qualification by specified deadlines.
Age Limit
IMA : Unmarried males born between January 2, 2002, and January 1, 2007 .
INA : Same as IMA.
AFA : 20-24 years as of January 1, 2026 (relaxation for valid Commercial Pilot License holders up to 26 years).
OTA (Men) : Unmarried males born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2007 .
OTA (Women) : Unmarried women or issueless widows/divorcees born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2007 .
Scheme of Examination
Written Examination :
IMA, INA, AFA : English (100 marks), General Knowledge (100 marks), Mathematics (100 marks).
OTA : English (100 marks), General Knowledge (100 marks).
SSB Interview :
IMA, INA, AFA : 300 Marks.
OTA : 200 Marks.

Complete the Part-I and Part-II registration .
Upload scanned photograph, signature, and photo ID in the specified format.
Pay the application fee online or offline (as applicable).
Ensure accuracy; corrections can be made between January 1-7, 2025 .
