Local Bank Officer (LBO) – JMGS-I	Min: 20 Max: 30	A full-time/regular Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University/Institution recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory bodies. Candidates must possess a valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate indicating graduation on the day of registration and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained.

Cut-off Dates for Eligibility

Age Criteria: The cut-off date for age eligibility is the 1st day of the month in which online registration commences, i.e., 01.10.2024.
Educational Qualification: The cut-off date for educational qualification eligibility is the last date for online registration, i.e., 13.11.2024.

Structure of the Examination

Descriptive Paper:

Subject: English Language (Letter Writing & Essay)
Evaluation: May be evaluated using an automated scoring mechanism to assess writing proficiency in an objective manner.

Examination Rights:

The Bank reserves the right to modify or alter the examination structure, with updates provided on the Bank’s website.

Information Handout:

Detailed information regarding the examination will be available for download along with the call letters from Union Bank of India’s website.

Important Documents Required

Candidates must present the following documents to appear for the online examination:

Valid Call Letter for the respective date and session.
Photo-identity proof (as specified) in original, bearing the same name as on the call letter/application form.

Reporting Guidelines

Candidates must arrive before the reporting time specified on the call letter.
Latecomers will not be permitted to take the examination.
The reporting time is prior to the start time of the test.
Duration of Online Examination: 3 hours 30 minutes, with candidates expected to be at the venue for approximately 4 hours or more, including formalities such as verification and instructions.

Personal Interview (PI)

For interview the candidates will be called in the ratio of 1:3 as against the number of vacancies. However, Bank may modify the said ratio at its own discretion.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates).

The applicants not securing the minimum qualifying marks in the Personal Interview will be disqualified for selection. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.

The weightage (ratio) of Online Exam and Interview will be in the ratio of 80:20 respectively

Application Procedure

Visit the Website:

Go to Union Bank of India’s website.
Click on the ‘Recruitments’ page to open the Career Overview Page.
Select ‘Click to View the Current Recruitment’ and then find the link for “Recruitment of Local Bank Officer (2025-26)”.
Click on “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE” to access the Online Application Form.

Registration:

Choose the tab “Click here for New Registration”.
Enter your Name, Contact details, and Email ID.
A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and displayed on the screen. Note this information down. An email and SMS will also be sent with these details.

Saving Your Application:

If you cannot complete the application in one go, use the “SAVE AND NEXT” tab to save the data entered.
Before submission, use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify and modify details as necessary.

Verification:

Carefully fill in and verify all details in the application form, as no changes can be made after clicking “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”.

Name Spelling:

Ensure that your name and the names of your Father/Husband/etc. are spelled correctly as they appear on your Certificates/Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any discrepancies may disqualify your candidature.

Validation and Saving:

Click “Validate your details” and then “Save & Next” to save your application.

Uploading Documents:

Upload your Photo and Signature according to the specifications provided in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature (detailed under point “Annexure-I”).

Filling Additional Details:

Fill in the remaining details of the Application Form.

Preview:

Click on the Preview Tab to review the entire application before “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”.

Final Modifications:
- Make any necessary modifications and click “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” after ensuring all details, including the photograph, signature, and thumb impression, are correct.
Payment:

Submission:
