Border Security Force

Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizen (Male & Female) for filling up 275 vacancies for the Non- Gazetted & Non Ministerial post of Constable (General Duty) in Group “C” on temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force against Sports quota as per table at Para 2(a). The posts have All India liability and selected candidate can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the BSF Act 1968 and BSF Rule 1969. Application from candidate will be accepted through ONLINE MODE only.

Individual Event	– Participation or medals in International sports events recognized by the International Olympic Association.- Medals in National Games/Championships recognized by the Indian Olympic Association.
Team Event	– Medals in National Games/Championships (Junior/Senior) or any recognized sports meet conducted by relevant federations.- Must be a playing member of the team for state/UT/Sports Control Board.

Only players who have participated or won medals in competitions listed above within 2 years of the closing date of the advertisement are eligible to apply.
Candidates will be awarded marks for the highest medal/position achieved in a competition. Multiple medals in the same competition will not be combined.
Marking will be based on the highest achievement in the respective category from the table above.

Chest Expansion: For all male candidates, a minimum chest expansion of 5 cm is mandatory.

Medical Standards
