Rajasthan Public Service Commission

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) invites online applications for 2540 Livestock Assistant posts in the Animal Husbandry Department. Out of these, 2292 posts are for non-scheduled areas and 288 for scheduled areas. The application process is online, and candidates must ensure all details are correct before submission. Selection will be based on a written exam, followed by document verification. The pay scale is Level-8 as per the 7th Pay Commission, with a fixed remuneration during probation. • The question paper will be of multiple-choice type and all questions will carry equal marks.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 40%. Candidates securing less than this will not be eligible for appointment.
• Negative Marking: 1/3rd marks deducted for each incorrect answer.

• Nationality Requirements:
  • Indian Citizen or a citizen of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee (before 1962).
  • Persons of Indian origin from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and certain East African countries can apply with Government of India eligibility certification.
• Age Limit:18-40 years as of 01.01.2025, with applicable relaxations.
  • Candidates eligible in previous recruitments due to age will be considered under special relaxation.
• Admit Card: To be downloaded from the official website; no postal dispatch.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC): Required for candidates in government service.
• Disqualification Criteria:
  • More than one living spouse.
  • Accepting dowry at marriage.
  • More than two children born on or after June 1, 2002 (with exceptions).
  • Found guilty of impersonation or malpractice.
  • Failing to meet character or health requirements.
