Final Result of Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer BPSC

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the final results for the Bihar Agriculture Service Category-1, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, Deputy Project Director (ATMA), Assistant Director (Cultivation), and equivalent posts under Advertisement No. 18/2024. The recruitment process was based on written (objective) examinations and interviews. Initially, 423 candidates were declared successful on 17.05.2024, with revised vacancies increasing this number to 427 on 27.09.2024. Interviews for 87 newly successful candidates were conducted between 01.07.2024 to 29.07.2024 and 18.11.2024 to 23.11.2024.

Out of 420 candidates appearing for the interview, results of 9 candidates were canceled. The final merit list was prepared for 411 candidates based on marks from the written exam, interview, and contractual preferences. Tie-breaking criteria included written exam marks, interview marks, age, and alphabetical order in the Devanagari script.

The final result declares 154 candidates as successful, category-wise, against 155 vacancies. One post in the unreserved category remained vacant due to the unavailability of a suitable disabled candidate as per government provisions. The selected candidates include a mix of males and females, with merit order determined by the aforementioned criteria. The complete merit list and reservation details have been published by the commission.
