Staff Selection Commission
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2024 from 09.09.2024 to 26.09.2024 in a Computer-Based Mode.
Key Points:
- Shortlisting for Tier-II:
Based on the marks scored in Tier-I, candidates have been shortlisted category-wise for the Tier-II examination. Separate cut-offs have been applied for:- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) (List-1)
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II (SI) (List-2)
- All other posts (List-3).
- Normalization of Marks:
As the Tier-I examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks have been normalized using the formula published by the Commission on 07.02.2019. These normalized marks were used to determine candidates’ qualification for Tier-II. - Minimum Qualifying Marks (Tier-I):
As per Para 16.1 of the examination notice, the following minimum qualifying marks were fixed for Tier-I: Category Minimum Qualifying Marks UR 30% OBC/EWS 25% All Other Categories 20%

Candidates shortlisted in Tier-I for Tier-II (Paper-I and Paper-II [Statistics]) for the post of Junior Statistical Officer.
